Karim is a social scientist, educational entrepreneur and a Co-founder and Co-CEO of Mirqah. He launched and operated a variety of technology-based and non-technology based products including Learmapp, a social network for learning. A strategist by nature, Karim is an analyst, forecaster, idea generator, and a veteran trainer. He has trained head management, supervisory managers, and knowledge workers at all levels. Karim has either directly designed or managed the design of a multitude of learning experiences from company-wide leadership development and innovation programs to business simulations, games and online learning platforms. He works closely with departments and organisations to craft unique and unmatched solutions in the areas of strategy, finance and financial literacy, behavioral economics, and decision making. Through his experience working with multi-nationals and large corporations such PepsiCo, P&G (Abu Dawood KSA), and DMG, along with his entrepreneurial acumen, Karim is currently heading Mirqah’s operations in the United Kingdom. His research covers data sciences and analytics, adult learning, and learning ecologies. He is currently finalizing a Doctorate of Philosophy (DPhil) in Education at the University of Oxford, and working with the Learning and New Technologies Research Group (LNTRG).
